Job Description
IT system Director/Manager for the City of Hamilton is responsible for directing, managing, and supervising the City’s IT infrastructure and systems. This position will be responsible for communicating with and directing the City’s contracted IT Provider regarding the maintenance, configuration, replacement, and reliable operation of City IT infrastructure and systems. This position will also create an inventory of computers and hardware that can be referenced by City staff, troubleshoot and offer technical support related to individual computer maintenance, repair, and usage, manage and audit backup/recovery systems and operations, and maintain general record keeping for the City’s Information Technology functions.
