Job Description

Norco is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist / Clinician to join our patient-focused, community-based care team.  This is a unique opportunity for licensed clinicians who want to use their respiratory expertise outside of the hospital setting - in a role with predictable scheduling, meaningful one-on-one patient interactions, and a supportive team environment.

Unlike traditional hospital RT roles, this position offers:

  • Standard Monday - Friday schedule
  • Structured, planned visits
  • Limited on-call rotation
  • Autonomy and variety across homes, clinic, and facility settings

If you enjoy building relationships, educating patients, and helping individuals thrive safely at home, this role is a great fit!

What You'll Do

You will support patients and referral partners by ensuring safe, effective use of respiratory and rehabilitation equipment.  Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluate patient needs and coordinate the ordering and setup of Category II and III respiratory equipment
  • Work directly with patients, physicians, therapists, insurance companies, and referral sources to ensure optimal equipment solutions
  • Perform evaluations in homes, clinics, nursing facilities, and hospitals
  • Provide product education and demonstrations to patients and healthcare partners
  • Support Norco's Quality Improvement Program and participate in ongoing clinical excellence initiatives
  • Troubleshoot oxygen and respiratory equipment during business hours and as needed during limited on-call periods
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to coordinate respiratory-related discharges
  • Promote Norco's services to referral sources and the healthcare community
  • Perform other tasks as needed to support patient care and company goals

What Makes This Role Different

  • Predictable schedule with most work occurring Monday - Friday
  • No rapid response or high-acuity hospital pressures
  • Time to educate, connect, and truly support patients
  • A stable, long-term career path with a company that invests in its employees
  • Employee-owned culture where your work directly contributes to shared success

Qualifications

  • CRTT, RRT, RN, LPN or eligible for any of the preceding
  • State license, as required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to learn new equipment and technologies quickly
  • Ability to lift 25 - 40lbs occasionally
  • Previous home care experience preferred
  • Ability to work compassionately with diverse patient populations
