Position Purpose:

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Baker City, Oregon is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide critical support for 3 executive level managers.

An ideal candidate possesses finely honed critical thinking skills, time management skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include a variety of administrative tasks – including document/file management, receiving and screening visitors and phone calls, maintaining assigned calendars, managing scheduling needs and coordinating meetings, conference, special events, and travel.

Position Highlights and Benefits:

+ Schedule Information: This is a full-time position, scheduled for 40 hours a week Monday through Friday.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ High school diploma or equivalent required.

+ Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field but not required.

+ Three years office operations and secretarial experience.

What You Will Do:

+ The position is responsible for arranging and coordinating appointments, conferences, meetings, and travel arrangements/expenses for various senior leaders.

+ Coordinate projects that can encompass a variety of internal and external individuals and groups.

+ Record minutes, coordinate schedules, and prepare for various SARMC committee meetings.

+ Prepare and assemble necessary background material and ensure leader has materials, agendas, and notes necessary for all meetings in advance.

+ Process daily mail for the office.

+ Screens callers and visitors/customers/complaints, routing the call or visitor as necessary.
