Job Description
Gem State Staffing is seeking dependable Forklift Operators/Warehouse Associates to support a busy food manufacturing warehouse. This position plays a key role in receiving, storing, moving, and staging materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting production and shipping operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts (preferred), pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Stage finished products for shipping and prepare raw materials for production.
- Perform inventory transactions using warehouse or ERP systems.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control.
- Complete shipping and receiving documentation accurately.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all food safety, warehouse safety, and PPE requirements.
- Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.
