Job Description
The Insurance Producer helps our clients build and protect their assets by identifying insurance needs, preparing quotes, and recommending coverage solutions. You'll build relationships with new and existing clients while providing ongoing service and support throughout the continuation of their policies.
As a member of our small team, you'll gain experience in every aspect of the business, from sales and client relationships to policy servicing and agency operations. Primary Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
- Prepare insurance quotes and recommend coverage solutions
- Generate new business through referrals, networking, and client relationships.
- Conduct policy reviews and identify opportunities to improve client coverage
- Assist clients with policy servicing, endorsements, renewals, and claims questions
- Communicate with insurance carriers regarding underwriting and policy changes
- Maintain accurate client files and documentation
- Work closely alongside other members of the agency
- Continue developing product knowledge and sales skills
- Contribute to the the overall growth and success of the agency
Essential Qualification/Skills
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license OR willingness to obtain within agreed upon timeline
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with an interest in business development and career growth
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortability learning new technology and agency management systems
- Professional, positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a small team
