This position is PRN and will provide coverage for various shifts and schedules. Department hours are Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.
Job Summary:
Perform diagnostic ECG testing, Holter monitoring, Overnight oximetry and N95 fit testing in the acute hospital setting. Record, process and file patient records accurately. Maintain electronic files via Meditech and CardioServer systems. Completes patient billing for above services. Communicates with patients and physicians as appropriate. Maintain sufficient level of supplies and inventory of equipment and cleaning as necessary. Stock respiratory care supplies as assigned. Able to transport patients via wheelchair or stretcher. Other duties as assigned.
Education and Training:
- High School diploma or GED, required.
- Complete Arrhythmia training within 6 months of hire, required.
Licensures and Certifications:
- CNA or equivalent medical/patient care experience, preferred.
- BLS certification upon hire.
Experience:
- Previous hospital or clinical experience, preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, required.
- Experience with EMR and other computer systems, preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills, required.
