Job Summary
The Manufacturing Technician supports production by following detailed manufacturing plans, assembling and inspecting parts, and ensuring high-quality products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role emphasizes safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
+ Follow manufacturing plans, specifications, and SOPs to complete production tasks.
+ Verify materials, parts, and tools are available before starting work.
+ Assemble, lay up, inspect, and package parts according to quality standards.
+ Perform in-process and final inspections, identifying defects and Foreign Object Debris (FOD).
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S principles.
+ Properly handle tools, equipment, hazardous materials, and required PPE.
+ Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, Kaizen, RCCA, and Lean Manufacturing activities.
+ Identify process issues, recommend solutions, and contribute to operational efficiency.
+ Collaborate effectively with team members and meet production schedules and quality expectations.
Required Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or production experience.
+ Ability to follow detailed work instructions and specifications.
+ Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety.
+ Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
+ Problem-solving and analytical skills.
+ Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or continuous improvement programs.
+ Positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
+ Comfortable working overtime as needed.
Work Environment
+ Manufacturing/production setting with a strong focus on safety and quality.
+ Frequent standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting up to 30 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
+ Mandatory use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hayden, ID.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $22.00/hr.
