Koinonia Practice Management PlusJob DescriptionJob Title: BillerJob Overview Role: Part-Time Experienced Medical Biller (Behavioral Health) Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week Location: Montana, Remote positionKey Responsibilities Claim Processing: Submit electronic and paper claims for mental health and behavioral services accurately. Denial Management: Review rejected claims, fix errors, and appeal denials with insurance companies. Payment Posting: Post insurance and client payments, and balance daily ledgers. Client Support: Answer client billing questions with care, positive communication and confidentiality.Requirements Experience: Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience, specifically in behavioral health or medical field. Knowledge: Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes for behavioral health, familiarity with Montana Medicaid and Commercial Insurances Skills: Proficient with major insurance portals, EHR software, and Microsoft Excel. Teamwork Skills: Excellent team work and communication skills with colleagues
