An Insight Global customer in the construction industry is seeking to hire a Construction Manager to oversee the electrical low voltage and telecommunications systems for a mega project in Boise, ID. This project is multiple billions of dollars in total budget, is supporting a high-tech manufacturing client, and is expected to last into 2028. As a Construction Manager in this role, you’ll be expected to complete all pre-construction tasks including equipment buyout and scrubbing drawings to align proper subcontractors and trade partners, take full ownership of your project scope including proper documentation and alignment across all teams and partners, facilitate training, run startup meetings with hundreds of teammates, review project submittal information, and receive and distribute RFIs.
The specific scope of work for this role will be structured cabling, fiber optic infrastructure, telecommunications systems, network pathways, data center connectivity, and low-voltage building systems. The initial contract will last 12 months, but extensions are likely. We can offer pay at $75/hr for this role as well as a generous per diem package for candidates who qualify. Exact compensation may differ due to education or experience. Candidates can expect to work 50 hours per week. Generally, it is expected that employees in this role arrive to the job site early around 6 AM, but there may be some flexibility required.

Skills and Requirements
10+ years of construction experience on mega and/or high-tech construction projects supporting low-voltage and telecommunications systems.
Strong knowledge of BICSI standards, structured cabling systems, fiber optic networks, telecommunications infrastructure, and applicable building codes.
Ability to work with construction software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and others.
Experience receiving bids from subcontractors, equipment buyout, and other pre-construction activities.
Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate customers, internal and external stakeholders, subcontractors, and regulatory partners.
Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
Experience managing contractors responsible for fiber optic installation, structured cabling, telecom rooms, network infrastructure, and low-voltage systems.
