Our client is immediately hiring experienced Welders to join its production team. Day and swing shifts are available in a clean, safe, modern shop featuring top-of-the-line equipment and a fun, laid-back work environment. This position offers excellent benefits and a Monday–Thursday schedule with no weekends!
Available schedules and Pay: Day shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM Swing shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, Pay DOE!
What you’ll do:
Read blueprints, drawings, and measurements to prepare jobs and materials
Select the appropriate welding equipment, settings, and methods for each project
Set up components according to job specifications
Verify measurements before cutting and bending materials to reduce waste
Weld in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures for quality and integrity
Use power and hand tools to hammer, grind, and polish materials
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What you’ll need:
Strong welding skills
Ability to accurately read measurements, parts lists, blueprints, and sketches
Ability to weld horizontally, vertically, and overhead
Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment, including overhead cranes
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to pass a drug screening
