Job Description

Independent Living Specialists is excited to announce that several positions are available immediately due to our expanding business. We are seeking responsible, reliable, compassionate, and motivated individuals to fill roles as Direct Support Paraprofessionals. Opportunities exist for all shifts, including both full-time and part-time positions.

We strive to accommodate various schedules, including those related to school, second jobs, or childcare commitments, as much as possible.

Wages are determined based on prior experience and education or certifications. After the probationary period, both full-time and some part-time employees are eligible for paid vacation and personal leave, sick leave, and holiday pay. All employees receive mileage reimbursement from the time of hire.

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation and minimum state liability vehicle coverage required
• Ability to pass an Idaho Medicaid Criminal History check
• Good driving record for the past five years

First Aid, CPR, and medication assistance certifications are mandatory for all Direct Support Paraprofessionals. However, these are not required prior to hiring.
