Job Description
Automates the generation of executable software and installation into target environments. Serves as an expert in designing, implementing and maintaining software test automation test frameworks/solutions. Acts as a lead to a team of engineers developing and maintaining application software and database packages.
+ Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using IaC, RPA, and orchestration.
+ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
+ Develop Terraform/CloudFormation templates for cloud resource provisioning.
+ Create Ansible/PowerShell automation scripts for configuration management.
+ Implement monitoring and alerting automation (AIOps integration).
+ Develop self-service portals and automation workflows.
+ Train operational staff on automation tools and best practices.
+ Document automation processes and maintain code repositories.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent relevant experience; Master’s Degree preferred
+ 5+ years experience in DevOps, automation, or infrastructure engineering.
+ Active Secret clearance
Other Job Specific Skills
+ Expert in: Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Git/GitLab.
+ Strong knowledge: AWS/Azure APIs, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), container platforms.
+ Experience with RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere) preferred.
+ Engineer 3 3 or similar certification preferred.
Compensation Ranges
Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM’s overall compensation and benefits package for employees.
