Lead Bartender/Server at Moonlight BasinStart Date: November 20, 2026End Date: April 16, 2027Moonlight Club LLC d/b/a Moonlight Basin, located in Big Sky, Montana, seeks ten (10) full-time, temporary Lead Bartender/Servers who will be responsible for mixing and serving drinks to guests, greeting customers, setting up tables in the dining area with tableware such as plates, glasses, and silverware, taking and placing orders, carrying trays and plates, serving snacks or food items to guests, completing all orders using a POS (point-of-sale) system, collecting payment, cleaning glasses and bar equipment, clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables, and ensuring that the bar and work areas are clean and well-stocked. Lead Bartender/Servers will also be responsible for verifying customers’ ages for purchase of alcohol. Lead Bartender/Servers will check with guests to ensure guest satisfaction and take action to correct any problem as well as assisting with front-of-house operations, mentoring staff, ensure smooth dining services, lead by example in providing exceptional service and maintaining a positive work environment, and assisting in completing weekly and monthly inventories. There will be no autonomous supervision of workers at any time. Lead Bartenders/Servers perform both bartending and dining-room service duties within the same shift, with the specific mix being determined and assigned by managers depending on business levels at any given time. During a shift, the employee’s primary station is behind the bar, serving food and drinks to guests seated at the bar. As business volume increases and the restaurant becomes busier, the employee may step away from the bar to take a table in the dining room, at which point they can take food and drink orders and serve customers seated at tables. Lead Bartenders/Servers may also be assigned a section of tables in the dining room in addition to, or in place of, their bar duties for a given shift. Will report directly to the Restaurant General Manager at Moonlight Basin. Three (3) months of experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club required.Applicant must complete pre-employment background check at employer’s expense. All worksites located in Big Sky, Montana. Travel throughout this area is required. When travel is required, transportation between worksites is provided. Daily transportation to and from worksite is provided via employee shuttle and community bus.On-the-job training is provided. Wage: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly. Overtime is available at $25.50 – $28.50 per hour. Service charge-eligible position based on hours worked, so actual wage with service charge may occasionally be higher. Employees may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of a discretionary end-of-season bonus and an employee appreciation bonus based on performance and accrual tenure.Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 9:00am – 5:00pm, or 1:00pm – 9:00pm. Shift hours may vary.A single workweek will be used to compute wages due.Optional housing is offered on a first-come, first-serve basis for workers who are relocating to begin employment. Cost of housing, if accepted, is $650.00 per month for double occupancy. If used, total cost of housing will be paid directly to Employer on the 1st and 15th of each month in the amount of $325.00. Cost of housing includes utilities and internet. A $150.00 non-refundable administration fee is required upon acceptance of housing, to be paid directly to the Employer. A $350.00 refundable security deposit is required, upon acceptance of housing, to be paid directly to the Employer.
