Job Description

Class A & B CDL Delivery Drivers –

Gem State Staffing is currently hiring dependable Class A CDL Drivers for a well-established Manufacturing company in the Boise area. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking to be home daily while working consistent local routes with a physically active position.

Position Overview:

Drivers will be responsible for:

• Valid Idaho Class A CDL with a good driving record
• Experience driving standard/manual transmission trucks, including 18-speed manual transmission
• Ability to drive a variety of equipment, including flatbeds, cement tank trailers, dump trucks, semis, doubles, and dump pups
• Experience securing loads using ropes, straps, brick boards, and tarps
• Ability to maintain E-Logs and complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Ability to transport products and raw materials throughout Idaho and Oregon to customers, stores, yards, plants, and jobsites
• Ability to load and unload trucks by hand stacking and/or forklift
• Ability to operate Princeton and other types of forklifts
• Ability to inspect, fuel, and perform basic maintenance checks on trucks, forklifts, and other equipment
• Good written and verbal communication skills

This is a hands-on driving position requiring physical labor throughout the shift. Drivers will regularly move and deliver packaged bagged products at customer locations.

Schedule:

• Full-time
• Local routes / Home daily
• Overtime opportunities available during peak season
• Early morning start times

Pay:

• Starting at $24/HR
• Weekly pay
• Long-term opportunity with room for advancement

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Clean driving record preferred
• Ability to lift and move product consistently throughout shift
• Experience with pallet jacks and delivery routes preferred
• Must be reliable and safety-minded
• DOT Medical Card required
