JOB SUMMARYThe Collections Coordinator I is responsible for all inbound and outbound calls and emails from participants, care providers, and other departments regarding account statuses and other inquiries professionally and respectfully. Collection Coordinator I is responsible for posting payments and payment reconciliation of all payments received for client responsibility, guarantor accounts, and other payments received for monies owed to CDCN. They are responsible for noting all interactions and vital document details.JOB DUTIESBasic understanding of billing and accounts receivable to complete the steps necessary to resolve issuesNotifications for past-due accountsRecord notes in the appropriate formatProcess and reconcile payments dailySorting daily mailWork directly with participants, case managers, care providers, and program operation staffAnswer calls and emailsParticipate in professional development and training activitiesMaintain the necessary skills and knowledge to coordinate workflowPrioritize and multitask effectivelyDemonstrate effective problem-solving and decision-making skillsDemonstrate dependabilityComply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and proceduresEffectively communicate verbally and in writingProvide excellent customer service to internal staff and external participants, care providers, and other partiesExhibit computer efficiencyWork with multiple computer systems (CXone, Excel, Office, U2, Solomon, Waystar. Sharepoint, and Docuware)Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSMicrosoft Office experience preferredHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPrior call center experience preferredPrior office experience preferredBe able to successfully pass a background screeningEmployees must provide their own reliable internet if working a remote/hybrid positionThe incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone, and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbents may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle, or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend, or lift up to 20 pounds.
