MIG Welder – Full-Time

Location: Pocatello, ID

Job Summary:

Gem State Staffing in Pocatello is now hiring a full-time MIG Welder for a growing company in Pocatello, Idaho. This is a hands-on, physically active role that involves metal work, welding, general labor, and shop support.

What You’ll Do:

• Weld and cut metal pipe (MIG or aluminum welding preferred, but not required)
• Operate saws and basic shop equipment
• Assist with flipping gates and moving materials
• Hand-load gates, posts, and clips (up to 75 lbs)
• Cut blocks, throw boards, and perform heavy lifting
• Operate a forklift (training available)
• Perform general shop upkeep and weed control
• Support daily shop and yard operations

What We’re Looking For:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Able to lift, push, pull up to 75 lbs regularly
• Willingness to bend, twist, stoop, and work on your feet all day
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Shop experience or welding background is a plus, but not required
• Comfortable working in outdoor and industrial settings
• Dependable, self-motivated, and eager to learn
