Job Title: Production Operator Job Description
Join a dynamic team responsible for assembling crosswalk buttons, either as a complete product or as components. As a team assembler, you will perform a variety of tasks including physical assembly using hand and power tools, conducting quality checks, maintaining documentation, and performing simple wire soldering. Team members rotate through tasks, ensuring a diverse and engaging work experience.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble entire products or components using hand and power tools.
+ Conduct quality checks to ensure product standards are met.
+ Document assembly processes and outcomes.
+ Perform simple wire soldering tasks.
+ Rotate through various tasks within the assembly process.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
+ Experience with assembly and production processes.
+ Ability to read blueprints.
+ Mechanical and electrical assembly skills.
+ Wiring and soldering experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Attention to detail.
+ Experience with small parts assembly.
+ Quality assurance experience.

Work Environment
The work environment requires adherence to strict safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed shoes, respirator masks, and coveralls. The facility is not climate controlled, and noise levels may exceed permissible limits, necessitating hearing protection. There is potential exposure to chemical incidents and other emergency situations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boise, ID.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $18.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
