Position Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Tax Professional to join our growing tax practice and support a complex client engagement requiring extensive international and federal tax compliance expertise. This remote consulting opportunity is ideal for an experienced tax professional with a Big 4 and corporate industry background, expert-level Corptax experience, and the ability to deliver hands-on support across sophisticated tax matters.
Essential Duties:
· Lead international and U.S. federal income tax compliance activities for a complex client engagement.
· Manage tax provision and compliance processes using expert-level Corptax knowledge.
· Analyze complex tax issues and provide practical, technically sound recommendations.
· Support tax accounting, reporting, and other project-specific tax requirements.
· Collaborate with client stakeholders to address tax compliance needs and project priorities.
· Communicate technical tax matters clearly to client teams and business stakeholders.
· Deliver high-quality work within project timelines while managing multiple priorities.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience required; advanced degree in Tax highly desirable.
· Minimum 10 years of relevant tax experience within Big 4, corporate industry, or a comparable environment.
· CPA certification or equivalent professional credential highly preferred.
· Extensive experience with international and U.S. federal income tax compliance required.
· Experience with tax provision work and complex corporate tax environments strongly preferred.
· Broad tax experience may include state income tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing, partnerships, property tax, or M&A.
Skills and Job-Specific Competencies:
· Expert-level proficiency with Corptax.
· Strong knowledge of U.S. federal income tax compliance and tax provision requirements.
· International tax compliance expertise.
· Strong tax research, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
· Excellent managerial and organizational skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Professional, collaborative, and engaging client presence.
· Ability to work independently and effectively within a remote consulting environment.
Travel Requirements: No travel will be required, unless at the client’s discretion.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $85 – 95.
