Job Description
Sandcreek Medical is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to join our team in an Equipment Management, Equipment Maintenance, and Equipment Delivery role. While full-time employment is preferred, qualified part-time applicants will also be considered.
This position offers a stable, long-term employment opportunity with a variety of responsibilities. Duties include both office work and field service throughout Bonner and Boundary Counties. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys helping people in their homes and communities.
Responsibilities
Deliver and set up medical equipment in patients' homes, including:
Hospital beds
Wheelchairs
Walkers
Oxygen equipment
Other durable medical equipment
Service and maintain oxygen equipment in patients' homes.
Clean, inspect, sanitize, and process returned equipment.
Fill oxygen tanks and assist with inventory management.
Schedule and document equipment deliveries, pickups, and service calls.
Maintain accurate records and complete required paperwork.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and related office duties.
Provide courteous and professional customer service to patients and caregivers.
Qualifications
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Basic computer skills are helpful.
Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Valid driver's license with no major driving infractions.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift and move medical equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
Ability to safely load, unload, and transport equipment.
Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Driving Requirements
This position requires regular travel throughout Bonner and Boundary Counties. Employees must be comfortable driving on rural roads and in occasionally challenging weather and road conditions.
Schedule
Generally Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Participation in a shared on-call rotation and occasional after-hours responsibilities is required.
