Job Description
Gem State Staffing is currently accepting applications for Order Pickers to join a local building materials supplier serving the Treasure Valley. This is a full-time opportunity offering 40+ hours per week, with overtime available.
Position Summary
As an Order Picker, you will help ensure customer orders are accurately pulled, prepared, and ready for delivery or pickup. This role is ideal for dependable, safety-focused candidates who enjoy hands-on warehouse work and working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pull, and prepare customer orders
- Receive, sort, and organize building materials
- Load and unload products safely
- Stock and maintain warehouse inventory
- Operate an RF scan gun to locate and process products
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
Schedule
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Mandatory OT until the busy season slows down
Pay
$20–$21 per hour
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous warehouse and/or production experience preferred
- At least 1 year of warehouse or production experience preferred
- Previous RF scan gun experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred; additional forklift training may be available
- Ability to accurately complete work independently and within required timeframes
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen
