Personnel Plus, Inc. is now hiring an Access Van Driver in Meridian, Idaho.
Our client, a local transportation provider, is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Access Van Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for passengers with mobility needs throughout the Treasure Valley. This is a full-time opportunity offering paid training and immediate hire.
Pay and schedule: $17.43 an hour. Monday–Friday, as early as 6 am and as late as 7:30 pm, with occasional overtime as needed.
What you'll do:Safely transport passengers to scheduled appointments and destinations
Assist passengers with boarding, exiting, and securing mobility devices
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain accurate trip logs and required transportation documentation
Follow assigned routes and schedules while providing excellent customer service
Ensure passenger safety and comply with all traffic laws and company policies
Keep the vehicle clean, fueled, and in good operating condition
Report vehicle maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly
Perform other related duties as assigned
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must be at least 21 years of age
Ability to safely operate a passenger access van
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to assist passengers with mobility needs and lift or maneuver mobility equipment as needed
Dependable attendance and strong time-management skills
Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
