The Pharmacy function is to compound and dispense pharmaceuticals and provide clinical pharmaceutical consultation in an institution and perform related work. This position is not eligible for telework. + Compound, prepare, package and dispense medical prescriptions.
+ Consults with medical staff on medication changes and drug formulation.
+ Maintain patient-profile records and cross-check for potential drug interaction, sensitivity, or adverse reaction problems.
+ Monitor and train other professionals to monitor patients with potential adverse drug reactions.
+ Perform clinical drug review for intermediate-care facility patients.
+ Research, investigate and document pharmacologic reports with recommendations to physicians.
+ Order and stock drugs and pharmaceutical products at prescribed level.
+ Ensure that use and storage of controlled substances that conform with legal requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: You must possess all the minimum qualifications below to pass the exam for this position. It is highly recommended to attach a one-page cover letter to your application to demonstrate how you meet the requirements below.+ Licensed in Idaho or eligible for reciprocal licensure as a Pharmacist (Idaho Code 54-1722).
+ Good knowledge of pharmacy operation procedures. Typically gained by at least one year experience working in a pharmacy.
