This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating recreation plans for youth in foster care with a range of cognitive and developmental abilities, as well as challenging behaviors.

Skills and Requirements

Knowledge of major sports and related rules and equipment requirements.

Knowledge of physical fitness and conditioning.

Knowledge of current first aid practices.

Experience assessing recreational needs of youth.

Experience developing and supervising multifaceted sports and recreation programs.

Experience engaging youth in sports activities and training them in rules and safe use of sport-related equipment.
