Job Description
Personnel Plus, Inc. is now hiring a Highway District Chip Seal Crew in Boise, IdahoOur client, a leading event production company, is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to assist with trade show and event setup for their upcoming event. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, changing job sites, and being part of a team that transforms empty venues into professional event spaces. This is a full-time, temporary assignment with the potential for additional event opportunities.
Pay and schedule: Starting at $16.00/hour. 8 am to TBD; minimum of 4 hrs per day.
What you'll do:Load, unload, and transport event materials, displays, and equipment
Set up and tear down trade show booths, pipe and drape, tables, chairs, staging, and signage
Arrange exhibit spaces according to floor plans and event layouts
Assist with moving equipment using dollies, carts, and other material-handling equipment
Perform basic venue cleanup before, during, and after events
Work efficiently as part of a crew to meet event deadlines
Follow all workplace safety guidelines and supervisor instructions
Assist with other event setup and breakdown duties as assigned
Ability to safely lift and carry up to 30 pounds throughout the shift
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work varying schedules, including nights and weekends
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical work for extended periods
Previous event setup, warehouse, moving, or general labor experience is helpful but not required
Ability to pass a drug screening
