Job Description

Project Mutual Telephone Cooperative is seeking an experienced Controller to work with our accounting team and help strengthen the financial future of a locally rooted telecommunications cooperative.

Reporting to the CEO, the Controller will oversee financial reporting, general ledger operations, telecom revenue cycles, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. This leader will also develop the accounting team and provide timely financial insights that support executive decision-making and continued investment in reliable broadband.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience
• Accounting management experience in telecommunications preferred
• Advanced Excel skills; NISC experience strongly preferred
• Ability to translate complex financial information into clear business insights
