About the PositionWe are looking for an experienced Aviation Sales Manager for the West Region. Candidate must reside within the region and within 30 miles of a major airport with flexible commercial travel options.
This position is an individual contributor position responsible for the overall sales performance and growth of the region, including customer support, customer retention, sales development, working closely with support personnel, effectively managing relationships, and sales reporting.  In addition, it ensures safety and compliance with industry standards with accounts, vendors, terminals, suppliers, and carriers. This individual provides outstanding service through consultive selling with sense of urgency and in a professional and profitable manner.
You’ll report to the Managing Director of Aviation, focusing on these key responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a marketing plan for brand and related services awareness with accounts and support partners, collaboration with supervisor in development of annual budget, set annual goals/objectives, develop/promote business opportunities (new or existing), and meets or exceeds goals.Build a network of vendors, associations, accounts, decision makers and influencers.Maintain excellent lines of communication; Communicates with accounts and co-workers effectively and efficiently through multiple communication tools.Understand the competitive landscape and make necessary adjustment(s) to compete.Analyze the performance of business opportunities with company tools and obtain appropriate approvals for proposals and renewals.Present proposals to decision makers, articulate incremental value, provide solutions through company’s value-added programs, and negotiate acceptable internal rate of return.Attend meetings as necessary or required.Attend company/partner provided fuel quality control (QC) and technical training. Support accounts with QC and technical needs.Develop and maintain accounts in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database.Manage account onboarding.Accurate record and management of expenses, invoices, and agreements.Perform other duties as assigned.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or an equivalent experience (minimum of 5 years in sales and management).Must be willing and able to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory, as well as other regions, sometimes in short-notice and/or for extended periods of time.Aviation industry experience is preferred.Must have a high degree of organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.Ability to manage competing tasks and priorities.Ability to interact well with team members and work directly with decision makers. Ability to think strategically and analytically. Understanding of Microsoft Office suite.Benefit Highlights2 Weeks’ Paid Time Off/year5 Days of Sick Leave/yearEmployer‑subsidized medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your family/dependentsEmployer‑paid life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D), and short‑term and long-term disability coverage4% 401K Retirement Account Match 6 Holidays/yearFuel, Propane, Lubricants Discount
