Chaplain- Boise Spiritual Care- Part Time

Job Description

What You Can Expect:

  • Part Time position
  • 8 hours per week for the Boise Hospital

24 hours per week for the Boise Cancer Institute

This role would require an individual who is:

  • Highly adaptable and comfortable working across multiple locations
  • A quick learner who can integrate effectively into different teams and units
  • Skilled in triaging spiritual care needs, particularly during traumas, deaths, code situations, and other critical events
  • Strong in interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Demonstrates sound critical-thinking and decision-making abilities
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with leaders and staff across the system

Qualifications:

Education: Master’s Degree.

Experience: 4 years’ of experience.

Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License & Insurance.

Documentation of endorsement by a recognized religious or spiritual organization to provide spiritual care in a clinical setting.

Must hold one of the following:

Board Certification from Association of Professional Chaplains

Board Certification from National Association of Catholic Chaplains

Board Certification from Spiritual Care Association
