Job Description
Responsibilities:
Handling fresh lymph node and obex samples in order to sub-sample, inventory, and coordinate the shipment of CWD samples to and from the lab; managing waste and cleaning lab space; ensure accurate data collection, management, and data entry; may operate off-site on CWD collection efforts; communicating with regional staff and the public.
Positions in this classification are used for data management, wildlife disease management, or wildlife research. Some positions may travel to remote locations for data collection and disease sampling activities and may require the physical ability to walk and stand for several hours; work in extreme weather conditions. Evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required. Overnight in-state travel may be required.
