Job Description
SENIOR ACCOUNT CLERK
Full-time position with Nez Perce County Treasurer’s Office. Hourly pay offered is $22.18-$23.48 DOE/DOQ, plus exceptional benefits including: PERSI retirement, excellent medical/vision/dental insurance for employees and their eligible dependents, and generous vacation/sick/holiday leave.
Position performs a variety of clerical and accounting functions in the collection of taxes and the processing of official records. A high degree of accuracy is essential in processing property tax transactions and bankruptcy claims. Successful hire must collaborate effectively with team members, deliver excellent customer service, and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor. Must possess excellent communication skills; be computer literate in Microsoft Office programs; and preferably have knowledge of accounting systems. New hire will be required to pass a background check and become bonded.
