at reMIND Behavioral Health in Twin Falls, Idaho, United States
Job Description
Adult substance use and co-occurring mental health treatment
Full-time, part-time, and contract opportunities | Twin Falls or Idaho Falls, Idaho
At reMIND Behavioral Health, our mission is to cultivate meaningful change for individuals and our community by providing opportunities for lasting recovery through human-centered care. You’ll put that mission into practice with adults receiving PHP, IOP, and outpatient treatment.
Your scheduled workday is paid, not just your billable sessions! Full-time and part-time employees are paid hourly for client care, meetings, and administrative time. Documentation time is built into the schedule, and we provide AI-assisted tools to help with note writing. You review and personalize your documentation before finalizing it.
Focus on clients, not calendar management. Our scheduling team fully manages provider calendars, including scheduling and rescheduling client appointments. Employee hours are typically 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Contract opportunities are also available, with terms discussed separately.
Two credential levels, similar core work
- Counselor: LMSW, LPC, LAMFT, AADC, ADC (formerly CADC), graduate clinical intern, or equivalent qualifying credential.
- Clinician: LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, or equivalent advanced clinical license.
Assignments and supervision reflect your credentials and scope of practice. Employee pay starts at $30 per hour; Clinician positions generally pay $40–$50 per hour. Final rates reflect credentials and experience. Internship compensation is discussed separately.
What you’ll do
- Assess substance use and co-occurring mental health needs, developing diagnoses or diagnostic impressions within your scope.
- Apply ASAM 3rd and 4th Edition criteria to explain level-of-care recommendations, continued treatment needs, and transitions.
- Provide individual and group counseling or therapy focused on recovery skills, relapse prevention, and co-occurring needs.
- Create individualized treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge plans that clearly show each client’s needs and progress.
- Provide timely clinical information for insurance reviews.
- Participate in team staffing and, when qualified, a shared call rotation. Trained paraprofessionals triage concerns and escalate those requiring a credentialed counselor.
We’re looking for counselors who communicate clearly, document thoughtfully, and practice trauma-informed, person-centered care. Two years of substance use treatment experience is preferred, and we welcome applicants ready to grow in this specialty. Working knowledge of ASAM 3rd Edition and familiarity with 4th Edition—or a commitment to learning both—is important.
