Description
This Career Pathways program in healthcare prepares you for a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC), also called a Patient Care Coordinator. In this role, you support patient care by keeping communication moving between patients and healthcare providers in hospitals, medical and dental offices, nursing care facilities, and specialty care centers. You will build organizational, computer, and interpersonal communication skills, and learn how administrative work supports patient case management.
