Description
Gain fundamental skills in structural steel welding. In this 50 hour course you will learn techniques in oxygen and acetylene cutting and safe practices for flux cored arc welding (FCAW), in all positions. Prepare for and perform two skills tests for American Welding Society (AWS) qualifications. Students provide their own personal protective clothing, including welding jacket or cotton overalls, gauntlet style welding gloves, and clear safety glasses.
