Instructional Program (CIP)
The Plumbing Apprenticeship Program at CEI is a four-year program that that will start with the basics and prepare you to take the Journeyman’s test with the Idaho Division of Building Safety (DBS). You will learn from industry experts in the classroom while applying your increasing knowledge on the job under the supervision of a licensed Journeyman. Our program teaches the how’s and why’s of plumbing theory, the Uniform Plumbing Code, Idaho Plumbing Code, residential and commercial installations, blueprint reading and estimating, job safety, plumbing repairs, and much more.
