Description
Complete your Medical Assistant Apprenticeship in this accelerated program for current health care professionals. This 8.5 month program teaches patient care, clinical and administrative skills necessary for this high-demand career. Under the supervision of health care providers, medical assistants are valued support members of the health care team. Doctors, nurses, and other team members rely on the medical assistant to provide clinical services for patients and ensure the clinic flows smoothly. You take skills learned in class and apply them under the supervision of a clinical preceptor at the place you work. Must be employed in a medical facility as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Phlebotomy Technician (CPT or PBT), and obtain employment as a Medical Assistant Apprentice. This course may be taken online for those living outside the Coeur d'Alene metropolitan area.
