Instructional Program (CIP)
Description
This program includes classroom and lab training in basic and advanced Welding Concepts. Basic courses include an introduction of thermal cutting, shop safety, and welding shop tools with an emphasis on building basic skills in TIG (GTAW) welding methods for steel, aluminum and stainless applications.
Advanced Welding courses include application of advanced welding skills in SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW.
Emphasis on Stainless, Sanitary Purge and Pipe Fitting will be addressed during the Advanced courses.
