Description
This course serves as a basic introduction to the SMAW welding process. Students will learn the theory and techniques to properly set up and use SMAW welding equipment safely. Students will weld the common joints found in the welding industry in various positions on carbon steel. Students will gain a foundational knowledge of welding as it applies to SMAW.
