Description
The primary focus of the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician is to provide more advanced emergency medical care and transportation for critical and emergent patients who access the emergency medical system. This individual possesses a current NR-EMT Basic certification. Upon successful completion of the EMT Advanced program, the student will have the additional advanced EMT skills and knowledge, along with a deeper understanding of pathophysiology. These are indicated in the course outline below. Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians function as part of a comprehensive EMS team response, under medical oversight. Advanced Emergency Medical Technicians perform more advanced interventions such as additional airway management, medication administration, and IV and IO access.

Secure your seat deposit and registration fee of $800 is due during registration. This is non-refundable, no exceptions.
The remaining $1200 balance is due 14 calendar days prior the first day of class unless payment plan arrangements have been made.
Payment plan of remaining balance can be split into three scheduled payments of $440 which includes an 10% finance charge fee. See class schedule for payment plan dates.
Refund Policy
- Students who have been enrolled for 8 calendar days from day 1 of class: 100% refund of tuition fee paid.
- Students who have been enrolled for 9 days to less than 4 weeks of class and have already paid the full class tuition: 50% refund of any tuition fee paid.
- Students who have been enrolled for more than 4 weeks (8 classroom days) of class: No refunds, no exceptions.
