This Esthetics Lash & Microblading Certification Course is a hybrid program designed to prepare students with real-world, in-demand skills in both lash extensions and microblading. 

The program also includes Essential Career Builder business coaching, foundational branding, and a custom basic business website. This program includes domain registration, website hosting for one full year. 

Included Website Services and Optional Renewal

Tuition includes a custom basic business website, foundational branding, domain registration, and website hosting for the first year. No separate fees apply to these included services during that year.

After the first year, students may transfer their domain and hosting to a provider of their choice or choose to continue through the Academy for $170 annually. Continued service through the Academy is optional and is not required for program completion or certification. Students who select another provider are responsible for that provider’s charges.

Students will receive three certifications: Classic Lash Certification, Volume Lash Certification, and Basic Microblading Certification. These services are recognized as part of advanced skincare and cosmetic procedures. The course is delivered through a blend of live virtual instruction and in-person practice, allowing students flexibility while still receiving direct mentorship and hands-on experience.

This course is structured as a minimum 10-class series to ensure students receive both foundational knowledge and guided practical development. After earning certification, graduates continue to receive unlimited support with instructors by appointment only, offering flexibility and long-term mentorship as they begin offering services independently or within a studio environment.

This program is aligned with the CIP code 12.0409 – Aesthetician/Esthetician and Skin Care Specialist. Lash and brow services are categorized under advanced skincare procedures and are in high demand within the beauty industry. These services directly enhance and alter the appearance of the skin and face. According to industry research, lash and brow services continue to grow over 8% annually, reflecting strong consumer demand and consistent employment opportunities.

The course includes a full set of printed textbook manuals and professional kits for both lash and microblading. Students are issued lash tweezers, adhesives, lashes, practice mannequin heads, disposables, and all necessary microblading tools including pigments, pens, and mapping supplies. These tools allow for a complete educational and hands-on experience.

Program Overview

This hybrid certification program provides foundational and practical training in classic lash extensions, volume lash extensions, and basic microblading, along with business coaching to help students prepare for employment or establish a service-based business.

Students complete 44 instructional hours through a minimum 10-class series over 24 weeks. Instruction combines live virtual sessions, in-person training, demonstrations, mannequin practice, structured assignments, and supervised live model work.

Upon successful completion, students receive Classic Lash Certification, Volume Lash Certification, and Basic Microblading Certification. Graduates also have access to ongoing instructor support by appointment.

Curriculum Overview 1. Lash Foundations

Students learn lash anatomy and growth cycles, sanitation, client safety, eye health considerations, allergies, contraindications, product knowledge, and lash design. Instruction includes eye-shape assessment and mapping for customized styling.

2. Classic Lash Certification

Students learn one-to-one lash extension application, including isolation, placement, adhesive control, curl and length selection, styling, retention, and full-set application. Skills develop through practice and supervised live model work.

3. Volume Lash Certification

Students learn volume fan creation, including 2D to 6D techniques, fan placement and wrapping, layering, weight selection, refill procedures, and retention strategies. Training includes practice and supervised application on a live model.

4. Basic Microblading Certification

Students learn brow mapping, facial symmetry, brow shaping, blade selection, pigment selection, color theory, stroke patterns, depth control, sanitation, and client preparation. Instruction includes demonstrations and supervised practical training.

5. Client Relations & Professional Standards

Students learn client consultation, consent forms, service documentation, aftercare instructions, appointment scheduling, client communication, and professional conduct. Emphasis is placed on safe practices and consistent client care.

6. Essential Career Builder Business Coaching

Students receive coaching in pricing, branding, client onboarding, and business startup basics. They develop foundational branding and receive a custom basic business website to support their business presence. Domain registration, hosting, and ongoing domain and hosting renewals are paid by the Academy.

How Skills Are Demonstrated

Students demonstrate skills through instructor-reviewed assignments, mannequin practice, practical assessments, and supervised live model work. Instructors provide feedback on technique, sanitation, consultation, service preparation, and aftercare.

Business activities include developing pricing, branding, client onboarding materials, and content for the student’s basic business website.

Program Completion and Credentials

Students must complete the required instructional hours, assignments, practical training, and instructor assessments to demonstrate competency.

These certificates document completion of training and demonstrated skills. They do not themselves constitute a state occupational license. Graduates must meet applicable requirements for the services they offer and the locations where they work.

Career Preparation and Continued Support

The program prepares students to pursue opportunities in salons, lash and brow studios, or independent service businesses, subject to applicable requirements. Technical training is supported by business coaching, branding, a basic website, and ongoing instructor mentorship by appointment. 

Financial Assistance

Eligible students may seek funding through applicable workforce funding programs. Funding is subject to the funding source’s eligibility requirements and authorization. Flexible Academy gap payment plans are available to approved students for a remaining balance.
