Description
Esthetics Classic Lash Certification Program
Program Overview:
The Classic Lash Certification Course is a basic, entry-level esthetics training designed to equip Idaho students with the fundamental knowledge, techniques, and hands-on practice needed to begin a career as a Certified Lash Technician. This program is structured as the first step in a four-class series, specifically crafted for students new to lash artistry. It establishes the essential foundation required for more advanced training, such as the Master Lash Certification Course, but by itself awards only a basic-level certification. The course aligns with Idaho Workforce Development goals by offering beginner-level skills that prepare students for workforce entry into the esthetics and beauty services sector, supporting Idaho’s local economy and filling high-demand positions.
What’s Included:
Students enrolled in this program will receive a Basic Classic Lash Certification. A comprehensive student kit and supplies are included with enrollment, ensuring there is no additional financial burden and enabling required at-home practice between sessions. The course is delivered as a four-class series, allowing students to progressively build their skills over time. Practice assignments between classes are required to reinforce learning and develop competency before advancing to the next session.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, students will be able to demonstrate fundamental lash application techniques necessary for safe and professional services, understand sanitation practices, client consultation protocols, and workplace safety standards, and develop beginner-level client interaction and service preparation skills that enhance entry-level employability.
Graduates will be equipped with the confidence to perform basic lash services and will have a clear understanding of the pathway available to continue into advanced training through the Master Lash Certification Course. This program is designed to meet the minimum requirements for initial workforce entry into Idaho’s esthetics sector, with future opportunities for expanded skill sets and career advancement.
Program Structure:
The program spans four instructor-led sessions spaced over several weeks, ensuring students have time for guided practice between classes. Each session includes a blend of theory, live demonstrations, supervised hands-on training, and structured assignments to build both technical skill and professional readiness. Students will complete live model work under instructor supervision and demonstrate their understanding.
Financial Accessibility:
To support Idaho LAUNCH’s mission of expanding access to approved workforce training, we offer flexible payment options and financing, helping reduce financial barriers for all students.
Idaho Workforce Outcomes:
Graduates of this program will be prepared to enter Idaho’s esthetics and beauty services workforce as beginner-level lash technicians. They will be positioned to secure initial employment or apprenticeships within salons, spas, or independent beauty practices offering basic lash services. By completing this training, students contribute directly to Idaho’s local economy by filling essential roles in the rapidly growing personal care services sector, with clear
