Description

Combo Weft & I-Tip Hair Extension Certification Program

The hair extension industry is booming—with market reports projecting over $5 billion in global sales by 2026. In the U.S., the demand for certified extension artists continues to rise, particularly in the salon and freelance sectors. Clients are paying premium prices for skilled installation using safe, seamless, and natural-looking methods. That’s where this course comes in.

The Combo Weft & I-Tip Hair Extension Certification Program was created to meet the real-world demands of the beauty industry while aligning with Idaho’s In-Demand Occupation List under Cosmetology. This hybrid training course delivers a practical and professional education in the two most popular and requested hair extension methods: I-Tip and Weft.

This program is designed for individuals who are ready to build high-income skills without the wait. There are no prerequisites, which means students can begin training immediately and receive direct mentorship from experienced instructors both virtually and in person. This program is structured as a fast-track solution for learners who want hands-on certification, not just theory.

Students begin with foundational training in scalp safety, client consultation, sectioning, tension control, and product selection. From there, they receive full hands-on instruction in the I-Tip method, including microbead installation, placement strategies, and client retention practices. The Weft module includes training in both hand-tied and machine-tied techniques, using both beaded and sewn applications.

In addition to technical skills, students will learn the full extension service cycle—from consultation to removal and maintenance. The course also includes best practices for sanitation, professional etiquette, aftercare, and pricing structures designed to support both salon-based and independent careers.

Each enrollee receives a full professional extension kit with all class supplies included. This includes extension tools, beads, threaders, clips, mannequins, and wefts, allowing students to develop their skills with the exact materials they’ll use in the field.

Upon completion, students receive two certifications: one for I-Tip Extension Application and one for Weft Extension Application. These dual credentials immediately expand the student’s service menu and open doors to employment or freelance opportunities within salons, studios, or mobile beauty businesses.

There are no state licensing requirements for these specific extensions in Idaho, as they do not require adhesive or a hot tool, making this course an accessible, high-return investment for individuals seeking a direct path to income in the beauty field. Students leave this course with proven techniques, real-world experience, and a business-ready skillset to begin offering services immediately.

This is more than a certificate—it’s a career launch.
